Everything Mariposa makes is original, which imposes special demands on every member of our "family." Each month our designs (soon to be your handmade treasures) arrive from craftsmen all over the world at our 15,000 square-foot distribution center in the seaside village of Gloucester, Massachusetts. There a small team—who somehow know absolutely every detail of every collection—first inspect each piece to ensure that our impeccable quality standards are met, then carefully pack and ship.
Keep in mind that we’re always trying to recycle materials. So if you happen to find Mexican, French, or Italian newspapers in your Mariposa box, it’s only because we’re trying to balance good padding with responsible recycling!
