BACKGROUND:

• A collection of handblown glassware crafted in Mexico using the free-form technique.
• Recycled Coca-Cola™ glass produces slight variations in tints, ranging from bottle green to light blue.
  
• Each piece hand-decorated, often using a combination of etching and sandblasting.
  
• Designs complement the full array of Mariposa motifs and products.

CARE AND USE:

• Vidrio is dishwasher-safe. Be careful not to crowd machine.
  
• Exposing any glass to extreme temperatures can cause thermal shock, followed by cracks or breakage.
  
• Extinguish candles 2” from candleholder rim. Filling a hurricane base with water aids in cleaning and amplifies the candle’s glow–thus adding romance to your setting.
  
• Vidrio is made entirely by hand; slight variations in color, height, width, tiny bubbles, and cooling marks (like the pontil on the bottom) are signatures of the crafting process.
