BACKGROUND:

• A unique collection of ceramic dinnerware and tabletop accessories painted entirely by hand.
• Handcrafted, the wares reflect the character of the region of origin. Stylistic differences result from diverse clays, glazes, and painting styles.
• Created especially for Mariposa by designer Amy Van Aarle and sculptor Michael Updike.

CARE AND USE:

• Ceramica Fina is dishwasher-safe, using air-dry setting. Take care not to crowd machine.
• Microwave use is not encouraged. Microwave use may provoke hairline crazing (small cracks) and may cause our dinnerware to be very hot to the touch.
• Pieces may be warmed to 200° F (100°C). Always start with a cold oven.
  
• All glazes meet or exceed FDA standards for lead and cadmium.
  
• Ceramica Fina wares are made entirely by hand. Smudges, fingerprints, and slight variations in color or size bear witness to the crafting process.
