Ordering Guidelines
You might first want to call us (800.788.1304) to speak with an extremely knowledgeable staff member, who can explore all the many possibilities and variations with you — including the creative options for custom engraving.
Once you’ve made your selection, we’ll draw up a realistic time-frame.
We do have several guidelines that may be useful
to remember:
- You must be an authorized retailer or an established business to purchase directly from Mariposa.
- All first orders are shipped on either a credit card or COD basis. Once your credit references are approved, we’ll convert your account to Net 30.
- In-stock items will be shipped in 4 days or less. Engraving adds 2-3 weeks.
- For special orders, our minimum lead time is 6-8 weeks, and 7-9 weeks if there’s engraving involved. (Rush special orders will be subject to a 10% surcharge.)
- All Brillante products come with a complimentary flannel bag, a descriptive care card, and a beautiful Mariposa Gift Box for most items. Call us to discuss other unique presentation ideas; we’ll quickly provide a quote and a delivery date.
- All orders over $5,000 require a 50% deposit. Any engraving order also requires a 50% deposit.
- Our shipping department balances good packing with low freight charges to get the product to you as safely and as inexpensively as possible. UPS charges are billed to the customer in addition to a shipping/handling charge to offset box and material costs. Whenever possible we use recycled materials for packing.
- We of course accept returns on any damaged or flawed product.
- Please order carefully. In the event of “over-ordering,” we limit returns to 10% of the total items ordered. Regrettably, we must also charge a 10% restocking fee on the value of the returned merchandise.
- Engraved orders may not be returned.
